The XviD codec's will update your media player and your media editor with the latest MPEG-4 compatitable codec's so that you can view and edit the .avi footage that you have shot with your Roscoby Riser Cam. Updating the codec's on your PC may be necessary to play the .avi files that your have shot with your Roscoby Riser Cam. A new PC may not necessarily have the latest codec's.
